Ararat Adventures is a professional mountain and travel agency based in Dogubayazit (Turkey), which organize adventure trekking and ski tours as well as cultural trips.
We have professionally guided people to Mount Ararat for over 12 years. Few years later we also have started to organize trekking and ski tours to other mountains in Turkey (Mount Suphan, Mount Artos, Mount Nemrut, Kackar Mountains, Taurus Mountains), in Iran ( Mount Damavand, Mount Tochal, Alam Kooh) and in Georgia (Mount Kazbek, Mount Tetnuld). During that time, we have successfully guided thousands of tourists (organized groups and individual climbers) from all over the world to the summits of mountains in those 3 countries.
We organize also cultural and historical tours to many places in Eastern and Southern Turkey, Armenia and Iran.
We are not an organizer of mass tourism, but we try to promote sustainable tourism, that respects local people, environment, economy and cultural heritage. That is the reason that we do not have 'clients', we have guests who very often become our friends.
For those who travel alone and those who like to meet new friends on mountains we have scheduled group tours, to which they can join. Our scheduled groups are small (6-8 people), because we understand well that small size of the group let our guides give individualized attention for each climber and also creates more intimate relation during trekking.
We can also organize private tours for any size of a group, to any place on any date. We can help you to make an individual itinerary just for you, giving you freedom to choose where you want to go and when you want to do it.
Our priority is safety of tourists during the tours therefore all our mountain guides were carefully selected according to their experience, responsibility and professionalism. They have received training in first aid and mountain rescue. Each one climbed leading groups more than 50 times and is well prepared to handle any situation which can come across on mountains.
We are also proud of our cultural tour guides, who are professionals with a genuine passion for introducing you to local history, culture, customs, nature and food.
